BEING THE CHANGE IN OREGON!

Hey there!

I know there are lots of amazing people doing inspiring things in Oregon to create positive change. I want to highlight the pride we share in those contributions through this group.

If you are active in Oregon, or want to be, please join and keep us posted on events that are taking place where people can show up to make a contribution . . . whether it is community service, a benefit concert, etc. . . anything that is making a difference and creating positive change in our communities.

Blessings,

Florentine

Even if its a dollar, three dollars or whatever amount you can give to Obama's campaign, this is the moment. Obama has trusted us to, as a grassroot movement, take him to the White House. And so far, we have done a great job, of which everyone should feel proud of.

But with just days from the elections, the time of giving the final push is now. The republicans are commenting that Obama has lots of money. We have to make those words extra true. So make a budget for September, October and the first day in November. We have to find out when the campaign closes so we donate on time.

So let's give the Obama-Biden ticket our support more than ever. Yes we can!!!

PS I just saw that McCain is above Obama 46% to 45% Obama in the overall national poll. We need to work in the so called swing states like Ohio, Michigan and Minnesota. Obama is doing just a bit better in some of these states, but we have to help and work hard to win the election and have a Democrat called Barack Obama in the White House on January 12, 2009.

Please visit my site because maybe you will be interested in sending CNN a comment regarding Mr. Lou Dobbs attitude towards Obama and minorities in general.

Thank you.

I was once a flight attendant for United Airlines and my favorite place to layover was portland, Oregon, with its fresh cold waters and shinning streets. But the most impressive of all of what I experienced in Oregan was its people. They were wonderful...

Thank you for your support on the Rally. It was amazing. On to our next project Nation For Change is encouraging everyone to participate in the March 10th voter drive. It is important that we should offer their support for this event. However, if you feel that there are areas where unregistered voters in your state may be overlooked, then we encourage you to act accordingly. It is a good idea to let your local campaign office know that we area participating in the national drive even if we are doing it from a different location in the city. Some places mentioned is groceries stores, malls, high schools, workforce commissions, trade/technical schools. For felons and unemployed unregistered voters, some suggestions are work programs and workforce commissions. Please let us know if your state (nation for change) group plans to participate. As you know, each of us are in favor of taking our efforts to the streets, so this falls right in our laps. Your feedback is greatly appreciated
