Just wanted to update you that Nation 4 Change is officially now Nations For Change. Our new name better reflects the composition of our membership with NFC activists now in 46 states and 14 countries worldwide. We are busy setting up a variety of training programs for community organizers and planning our events agenda for next year.
Check out our new website, too at www.nationsforchange.org. You'll find lots of information about what we're doing and how you can stay involved. Additionally, members should join us on our networking site at The Works.
The website has some photos of previous rallies but not as many as we would like. Please send any pictures you have to info@nationsforchange.org along with a short description of where they're from and we'll put them on the site.
Thanks for all you do!

I wanted to let you know that I have been canvassing up here in Portland and it has been a great experience. For the most part folks are really glad to see people becomoing more active in the political process, even some Hillary supporters thank me for stopping by. I hope that you have a great time in Eugene, I know that Barack has a lot of very enthusiastic supporters down there. I want Oregon to be the state that puts him over the top in the pledged delegate majority - I will have lifelong bragging rights! Anyway, have fun and I look forward to meeting you. :)

The goal of this grassroots group is to quickly mobilize our efforts to support Barack Obama as well as formulating nationwide and abroad groups. The vision is to link grassroot organizers with groups/programs throughout the nation that are currently showing progress in impacting change. In Addition, we are committed to creating teams that address platform issues from the ground up, education, healthcare etc... Beyond National Action group is where grassroots individuals are committed to supporting the Presidency of Barack Obama by actually working on the issues. This is a great opportunity to impact Real Change Globally. This is a group that understands that the Roadmap to real change happens when we challenge ourselves with hardwork and deligence. This is a long-term action team. We're Fire Up and Ready To Work.
Blessings
Denise

Had a great time in Medford on Saturday. Missed the town hall meeting, but had the opportunity to meet the Senator twice within a couple of hours.
Four of us drove from the Sacramento area on Friday and met with one of the campaign event coordinators in Medford. As luck would have it, we were given the opportunity to handle the luggage of the Senator and the group of news media people who travel with him. We went to the Senator's hotel and met him as he prepared to leave for the Medford meeting. After he left the hotel. we drove to the Medford airport. His plane was on a remote, secure, tarmac. We processed all of the luggage and waited for the Senator. After he arrived, he walked around to the several groups of people, reporters, flight crew, airport officials, etc., who were at the plane. As he went from group to group, he was photographed with each individual and then had a group shot taken. What an experience! When we came up, we didn't even think we were going to be able to volunteer....... and then this! WOW
The campaign headquarters is opening today here in Portland Oregon and I am so excited! I get to be a volunteer at the rally this Friday - maybe I will get to meet Barack! I am very excited and now that our headquarters is set up I can get even more actively involved. I've never in my life had a better way to spend my time, other than with my family, and since my sister and I are in this together it's like the best of both worlds - more incredible than I can express with words :). Barack's speech was amazing, I almost cried, held back because I was at work, but almost...
