How is your son doing? My son is a US Marine currently on his 2nd tour as well. I can't wait until President Obama brings them home!!!!

Just wanted to update you that Nation 4 Change is officially now Nations For Change. Our new name better reflects the composition of our membership with NFC activists now in 14 countries around the globe. We are busy setting up a variety of training programs for community organizers and planning our events agenda for next year.

Check out our new website, too at www.nationsforchange.org. You'll find lots of information about what we're doing and how you can stay involved. Additionally, members should join us on our networking site at The Works.

The website has some photos of previous rallies but not as many as we would like. If you have any photos from previous N4C events, please send them to info@nationsforchange.org along with a short description of where they're from and we'll put them on the site.

Most hotels have ony double beds. How I am BEING THE CHANGE:: I am an Obama delegate for the 2008 Texas Democratic Convention.

I've been inspired by:: Obama's ability to look at issues from multiple perspectives

Things that matter most to me:: 1. As a mother of a soldier preparing for his second tour in Iraq, I want to see change in our foreign policy decisions that will get us out of Iraq.
2. Reasonable costs for college- I am a single mother putting two kids through college right now.
3. Reasonable health care costs
4. Education policy made by people who are interested in helping children instead of testing corporations
